Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ Heart of Brooklyn Veterinary Hospital — Ft. Greene in Brooklyn, New York, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to support hospital operations and provide high-quality patient care.

You will conduct examinations, assist in surgeries, manage nursing care, and maintain medical records while delivering exceptional service to pets and clients. The role requires a current LVT/CVT/RVT/LVMT license and at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years veterinary experience
• Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), CVT, RVT, or LVMT
• Proficient in blood draws, catheter placement, radiology, and medication administration

Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations and triage as directed by the veterinarian
• Be responsible for nursing care, feeding, and monitoring patients
• Assist during surgeries and procedures
• Maintain medical records and documentation of treatments and medications
• Provide client education and discharge instructions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
