Job summary

Qualifications

• Veterinary technician licensure required.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program preferred; or equivalent education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures following state Act guidelines.
• Monitor and assess patient status; collect samples for testing; place catheters.
• Maintain medical records with practice systems; obtain health history from clients.
