Responsibilities

• Assist in examination, treatment, and monitoring of animals under a veterinarian's supervision; administer medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Prepare and analyze lab samples; operate and maintain lab equipment; record findings in patient records.
• Assist in surgical procedures; monitor anesthesia and provide post-operative care.
• Educate clients about wellness plans, animal care, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Maintain thorough medical charting and ensure hospital equipment is functioning properly.
