National Veterinary Associates is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our equine hospital for a full-time overnight shift. You’ll monitor hospitalized horses, administer medications, and collaborate with veterinarians to provide continuous care through the night.
The ideal candidate has a valid LVT license, extensive equine experience, and the ability to work independently, stay organized, and communicate clearly with the team. Start date by December 1, 2026.
We’re looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our equine hospital team in a full-time overnight position.
While most people are sleeping, our hospital is still caring for horses who need monitoring, treatments, medications, and a watchful eye. We’re looking for someone who enjoys the quieter pace of overnight work, is confident working independently, and doesn’t mind when their coworkers occasionally weigh 1,200 pounds.
Someone who:
Has extensive equine experience and is comfortable working with horses and hospitalized patients
No alarm clock at 5:00 a.m.
Less traffic.
A different pace.
More independence.
And depending on your personality, significantly fewer people asking you questions before you’ve had coffee.
Most importantly, you’ll play an important role in providing continuous care for our hospitalized patients throughout the night.
