Job summary

Cat Care Clinic of Naples is a cat-exclusive veterinary hospital in Southwest Florida seeking a licensed veterinary technician to join our feline-focused team. Qualifications

• Requires active Florida LVT license or eligibility to transfer.
• Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program.
• Passing VTNE and Florida Laws & Rules Exam is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide low-stress feline handling and nursing alongside veterinarians.
• Assist during exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostic workups.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per protocol.
• Run in-house labs and operate imaging and anesthesia monitoring equipment.
• Induce, monitor, and recover feline patients under anesthesia.
• Document patient care in PIMS and communicate plans to clients.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain aseptic technique.

We’re seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our feline-exclusive team and help deliver that care every day.

In this role, you’ll provide exceptional patient care, assist with medical and surgical procedures, and help create the concierge-level experience our clients and their cats have come to expect. What You’ll Do

You’ll practice the full scope of feline nursing, right alongside our veterinarians:

• Provide low‑stress feline restraint and handling
• Assist our veterinarians during exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostic workups
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per protocol
• Run in‑house lab work, including blood chemistry, CBC, urinalysis, and cytology
• Operate digital radiography, ultrasound, and anesthesia monitoring equipment
• Induce, monitor, and recover feline patients under anesthesia
• Place IV catheters and support critical care patients
• Maintain aseptic technique during surgery and sample collection
• Document all patient care in our PIMS
• Communicate treatment plans and post‑care instructions to clients
• Mentor junior team members

Who You Are

You’re a skilled, detail‑oriented technician with a client‑first mindset and a genuine love for cats. You bring:

• An active Florida Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential, or eligibility for licensure through the Florida Board of Veterinary Medicine
• Graduation from an AVMA‑accredited veterinary technology program
• Passing scores on the VTNE and the Florida Laws and Rules Exam
