Is clinic culture and quality patient care important to you? Do you enjoy working with exotics? We at Hillside Pet Clinic want you! We are searching for a Veterinary Technician to join our staff. We are an AAHA accredited, eight doctor, small animal practice.

Here at Hillside, our Veterinary Technicians are responsible for the Fear Free care and treatment of dogs, cats, avian, reptiles and other exotic patients. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all areas of anesthesia, surgical assisting, IV catheter placement, lab specimen collection and processing, radiology, dental prophylaxis, general patient care and client education. We see a large amount of dental and exotic referral cases, so a special interest in one or both areas is a plus. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

This position requires a self‑motivated, highly organized individual with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a desire to learn and the ability to work as an integral member of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Friendliness, eagerness to help and a strong sense of compassion for patient care is crucial for success in this role. Physical requirements may include lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds.

We are open Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am‑6:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am‑3:00 pm. A full‑time position is available, either 4×10 hour or 5×8 hour days with rotating Saturdays. Part‑time may also be an option for the right candidate. Our doctors and technicians love teaching and helping others develop new skills, so new graduates are encouraged to apply.
