NVA General Practice in Ohio seeks an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. You will engage with clients, perform procedural support, and deliver high-quality patient care across triage, lab work, imaging, anesthesia, surgery, and post-op recovery.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician with relevant clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patients and assist veterinarians.
• Collect and analyze laboratory samples.
• Assist with diagnostic imaging and radiographs.
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized cases and administer medications.
• Assist in exams and communicate treatment plans to clients.
• Prepare for surgeries, assist during procedures and manage anesthesia.
• Perform dentistry tasks and post-op monitoring.
• Ensure clean and organized treatment areas and patient comfort.

Job duties include but are not limited to: triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of laboratory samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of hospitalized cases, administration of medications, assisting the veterinarian in exams effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparations and assistance, anesthetic management, dentistry, snuggling post-op patients, and getting purrs and slobbery kisses.
