We are searching for a Veterinary Technician to join our staff. We are an AAHA accredited, eight doctor, small animal practice. Here at Hillside, our Veterinary Technicians are responsible for the Fear Free care and treatment of dogs, cats, avian, reptiles and other exotic patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide fear‑free care to dogs, cats, avian, reptiles, and other exotic patients.
• Perform all areas of anesthesia, surgical assisting, IV catheter placement, and lab specimen collection and processing.
• Handle radiology and dental prophylaxis procedures.
• Administer general patient care and client education.
• Assist with dental and exotic referral cases.

Qualifications

• Self‑motivated, highly organized individual.
• Strong communication skills.
• Desire to learn and ability to work as an integral member of a fast‑paced team.
• Friendliness, eagerness to help and a strong sense of compassion for patient care.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Schedule & Pay

We are open Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. Full‑time position available with options of 4x10 hour or 5x8 hour days, with rotating Saturdays. Part‑time may also be an option for the right candidate.

Pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Individual pay is based on location and additional factors such as experience and education.

Job Type: Full‑time

Schedule: 8‑hour shift / 10‑hour shift
