Job summary

Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine team. This full-time position runs Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

with pay ranging from $27 to $38 per hour, and up to $41 for applicants with a Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) credential. Candidates should be licensed or pending licensure (LVT/CVT/RVT) with 1–2 years of clinical experience; anesthesia experience is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) required or pending licensure.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience highly preferred; internal medicine experience is a bonus.
• Must have anesthesia experience.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Assist physicians and medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Act for credentialed technicians.
• Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records with practice systems and obtain health history from clients.

• Assistinmaintainingrelevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
• Obtain relevant health history and information from clients andmaintainmedical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
• Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at$27-38/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
