Small Door is seeking a licensed veterinary technician to join our team in New York. You will triage and assess patients, recognize emergencies, document vitals, and support doctors with diagnostics and treatments.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in a general practice setting.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday).
• Comfortable with computers and online tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with clients and caretakers.
• Passion for pets and their well-being.

Responsabilidades

• Triaging patients and recognizing medical emergencies.
• Assessing patients and recording vitals with the team.
• Assisting doctors with diagnostics and treatments as instructed.
• Managing basic nursing care and husbandry.
• Preparing samples and running in-house labs as needed.
• Assisting in radiography and medication administration.
• Maintaining a hospitable environment for pets and clients.
• Contributing to a supportive, growth-oriented clinic culture.
