Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician required and NY license active.
• Strong client communication and education skills.
• Ability to manage multiple patients and tasks efficiently.
• Comfort with diverse caseload including exotic animals.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and obtain medical histories and vital signs.
• Restrain small animals and exotic patients safely.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and fluid therapy.
• Run in-house lab tests (CBCs, chemistry, urinalysis).
• Assist with surgical/dental procedures and monitor anesthesia.
