Broadway Animal Hospital at Riverdale is seeking aLicensed Veterinary Technician to join our animal care team in the Bronx. The role may also accommodate an Unlicensed Veterinary Technician Assistant depending on qualifications, with full-time hours.

Join a collaborative team providing anesthesia support, patient monitoring, diagnostics, and client communication. Experience with veterinary software and a NY license is preferred; relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with NY license or in training to become one.
• Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology preferred.
• Proficiency with veterinary software for patient records.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to deliver patient care.
• Assist with exams, procedures, and surgeries; prep equipment and supplies.
• Administer medications, vaccines, labs, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor anesthesia and vitals during procedures.
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients, including wound care and IV therapy.
• Communicate treatment plans and status with pet owners.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medical histories.
