Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), with a valid NY license.
• Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices, terminology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and surgeries; prepare equipment and supplies.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, lab tests, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures.
• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, including wound management and IV therapy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment histories.
