Qualifications

• Current Veterinary Technician License required.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support.
• Proficient in dental radiographs and dental care.
• Ability to obtain patient histories and vital signs; maintain medical records.
• Experience with lab testing and sample preparation.

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate, high‑quality care to all patients.
• Uses Fear Free handling techniques.
• Maintains accurate medical records and charts; communicates histories.
• Obtains patient histories, vital signs and weights.
• Presents treatment plans; explains costs and educates clients.
• Performs surgical and laboratory tasks; assists with anesthesia, radiographs and sample prep.
• Fills prescriptions and follows veterinarian directions.
• Administers vaccines and provides treatment as instructed.
• Keeps appointment schedules and treatment areas organized and clean.
• Multitasks effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritizes tasks.
