Qualifications

• Current Veterinary Technician License
• Surgery/Anesthesia Monitoring experience
• Experience with laparoscopy, endoscopy, C-sections, orthopedics
• Assisting with hospitalized patients
• Dental skills: Scaling, Polishing, Dental Radiographs
• Laboratory: sample handling, IV catheter, blood draws, microscopy
• Tech appointments: diagnostics, vaccines, laser treatments

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate, high-quality care to all patients
• Uses Fear Free animal handling and restraint techniques
• Maintains accurate medical records: charting, documentation, histories
• Explains treatment plans, costs, and educates/train clients
• Performs surgical and laboratory tasks, anesthesia monitoring
• Administers vaccines and patient treatments as directed
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of rooms and equipment
• Manages appointment schedules and supports fast-paced workflow
• Completes additional tasks as directed by veterinarians
