Animal Clinic East in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our compassionate team. Work alongside veterinarians to provide high-quality patient care and client service, performing nursing tasks, radiography, anesthesia support, and procedural assistance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with active state license, or student in accredited Vet Tech program.
• Minimum 2 years of small animal clinical experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and medical math proficiency.
• Excellent client and team communication; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care using a variety of clinical skills (diagnostic sampling, venipuncture, radiography, dental cleanings).
• Support veterinarians during preventative, injury and illness visits.
• Advocate for patients and educate clients.
• Assist with anesthesia, surgeries, and perioperative care.
• Obtain health history and document in EMR accurately.
• Mentor and support fellow team members.
• Continuously advance knowledge and skills.
