Job summary

Village Veterinary Hospital in Mount Juliet, TN, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our full-service small animal practice. You will perform nursing, anesthesia monitoring, lab work, and client education while mentoring teammates in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
A current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing.
Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care including treatments, anesthesia monitoring, and lab work.
Lead and mentor the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and growth.
Educate pet owners on treatments and review medical records with clients.
Contribute to a positive culture with training and feedback to maintain high hospital standards.
