Job summary

Broad Street Veterinary Hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to support hospital operations with dedicated veterinary care and exceptional service to patients and clients. The role includes performing examinations, assisting in surgery, managing medical records, and providing nursing care.

You will work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM with no weekends, no after-hours, and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a veterinary technician in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by assessing animal needs and conducting examinations.
• Assist during surgery and veterinary procedures.
• Maintain medical records and update patient databases.
• Ensure proper nursing care and monitoring of hospitalized patients.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and care.
