What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT); 2+ years in a veterinary hospital setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of animal handling, restraint, and low‑stress techniques
  • Proficiency with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection
  • Experience assisting with anesthesia, monitoring, and recovery
  • Ability to perform laboratory testing and interpret basic results
  • Radiology experience (positioning, safety, and image capture)
  • Medication calculation, preparation, and administration skills
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management software
What You’ll Do
  • Assist veterinarians with patient exams, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Obtain patient histories and perform initial assessments
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection
  • Run in‑house laboratory tests and prepare samples for reference labs
  • Prepare, administer, and monitor medications and vaccines
  • Assist with anesthesia, surgery, and post‑operative recovery
  • Take and process radiographs following safety protocols
  • Provide high‑quality nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients
  • Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and at‑home care
  • Accurately document patient care in medical records
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment
  • Support a positive, collaborative team environment
