Job summary

VCA Bayview Animal Hospital in Toms River, NJ, is seeking a Veterinary Technician for full-time work 35–40 hours weekly. Compensation ranges from $25–$30 per hour based on education, experience and licensure.

Qualifications

• Credentials CVT, RVT or LVT with active licensure or credentialing.
• Strong clinical skills and compassionate patient care.
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and assess patient condition.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures and assist as needed.
• Prepare for surgery and provide intraoperative support.
• Perform dentistry, radiology, and laboratory tasks.
• Assist with venipuncture, catheter placement, and pharmacy tasks.
• Provide compassionate care during patient recovery.
