Job summary

Wil-O-Paw Animal Hospital in Coloma, MI is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join a supportive, AAHA-accredited team. You will provide comprehensive patient care, monitor anesthesia, perform lab work, and support surgical and dental services in a collaborative hospital setting.

We offer competitive compensation of $24–$27 per hour (based on experience), a four-day work week, and a benefits package within a larger Mission Pet Health network that supports professional growth and ongoing

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technician program.
  • Current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing.
  • Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
  • Calm and efficient approach with strong communication skills.
  • One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care including treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and nursing duties.
  • Perform clinical lab work and assist in surgeries and dentistry.
  • Mentor colleagues and support efficient hospital workflows.
  • Educate clients and review medical records to support care plans.
  • Contribute to a positive hospital culture and high standards.

Schedule

  • Four-day work week
  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
