Ottawa Animal Hospital East in Holland, Michigan is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited team. You will provide high-quality patient care, assist with surgeries, dentistry, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, and in-house labs while growing your skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team, ensuring efficient workflow and skill development.
• Partner with clients, educate on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions.

Schedule

• Rotating Saturdays
• Availability during the week until 7 PM
