Fowlerville Animal Hospital, part of the Mission Pet Health network, is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our full‑service small animal team. You will participate in anesthesia support, diagnostics, and medical care for dogs and cats, while mentoring peers and contributing to a collaborative hospital culture.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and lab procedures.
- Calm and efficient in fast-paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- One year of veterinary experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilize full skillset providing comprehensive patient care, administer treatments, monitor anesthesia and perform labs.
- Lead and mentor the medical team to maintain efficient workflows and high standards.
- Educate clients on treatments and review medical records, answering questions confidently.
- Contribute to a positive culture and support ongoing training and professional growth.

We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is passionate about patient care and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. The ideal candidate is proficient in:
- Blood draws
- IV catheter placement
- Anesthesia support
- Patient monitoring

Note: The Licensed Veterinary Technician title is used in various states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements. Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or state and will be outlined by the state’s Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable.
- Utilize Your Full Skillset: You'll be a vital part of the medical team, providing comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
- Be a Leader and Mentor: You’ll guide and support the medical team, ensuring an efficient workflow while mentoring others to help them grow their skills and careers.
- Partner with Clients: You'll be a key point of contact for pet owners, educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and confidently answering their questions.
- Contribute to a Positive Culture: You'll play an active role in training, providing feedback, and maintaining the high standards of our hospital environment.
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
