Animal Emergency Hospital in Burton, MI seeks a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) to join our emergency team. Starting pay from $26/hour with a sign-on bonus of $5,000 and a shift differential of up to $5/hour for late nights.

AAHA-accredited hospital, fast-paced, team-driven care for critically ill pets and their families. Ideal candidates hold an active Michigan LVT license and bring 2+ years in the ER or 5 years as a veterinary assistant.

Qualifications

• Active License for Veterinary Technician in Michigan required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an LVT or 5 years as a veterinary assistant if newly licensed.
• Comfortable in-patient care, customer service, and accurate medical math.

Responsibilities

• Place IV catheters and monitor anesthesia and vitals in critical patients.
• Draw blood, run diagnostics, and perform medical calculations.
• Administer and monitor blood transfusions and manage feeding tubes.
• Provide calm, team-focused care in a fast-paced ER setting.
