Penfield Veterinary Hospital in Rochester, NY is seeking a licensed Veterinary Technician to join Thrive Pet Healthcare’s nationwide network. This full-time position (30–40 hours per week) includes day, evening, weekend, and one required weekend shift, with opportunity to support veterinarians, educate clients, and help manage patient care.

Candidates must hold veterinary technician licensure, have 1–2 years of clinical experience, and ideally possess an AVMA-accredited associate’s or bachelor’s

• Licensed veterinary technician licensure required.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience.
• AVMA-accredited program preferred; associate or bachelor’s degree.

Responsabilidades

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures as allowed by state law.
• Monitor patient status and collect samples for testing.
• Place catheters; assist with patient handling.
• Communicate with clients about Thrive Membership options and treatments.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records with practice systems.
• Obtain health history from clients and update charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques and keep treatment areas clean.
• Mentor and support fellow team members.
