Job summary

URvet Care in Manhattan, New York, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our full-service clinic and provide the highest standard of care for our furry patients.

As an LVT, you will assist veterinarians in medical, surgical, and dental procedures, perform laboratory tests, administer medications and vaccines, monitor anesthesia, and educate pet owners as part of a collaborative, compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in New York.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical veterinary skills and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Previous clinic/hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental care.
• Conduct patient assessments and collect samples.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgeries.
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide client education.
