VCA Animal Hospitals Urgent Care - Northwest San Antonio is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician for our Urgent Care department in San Antonio, TX. The role supports technician and doctor teams, delivering a low-stress, positive atmosphere and exceptional client experiences as part of a large veterinary network.

Qualified candidates hold CVT/RVT/LVT credentials and have experience in urgent care settings, radiography, and in-hospital diagnostics.

Formación

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with CVT/RVT/LVT credentials.
• Ability to work in an urgent care setting.
• Strong client communication and animal handling skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collect patient histories and review referral medical records.
• Perform physical exams and report results to doctor.
• Place and maintain intravenous catheters.
• Perform radiographs and diagnostic imaging.
• Obtain laboratory samples and run in-hospital tests.
• Maintain accurate medical records and billing responsibilities.
• Follow infectious disease control protocols and waste handling.
