Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Credential as Licensed/Certified/Registered Veterinary Technician required; near-licensure considered.
• Proficient in client education, urgent care, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, lab work, radiology and dentistry.
• Basic computer literacy; practice management software and Microsoft Office; Cornerstone PIMS preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients and monitor their status.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgery.
• Perform laboratory diagnostics and document results accurately.
• Operate radiology and ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per regulations.
• Maintain medical records, charting, and charge entries with accuracy.
