Job summary

Sanctuary Recovery Centers is seeking a caring, enthusiastic therapist to join our outpatient facility in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on intake assessments, evaluating treatment needs, and crafting contextually sensitive options for recovery.

You will work under supervision to address mental health concerns, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, coordinating with a treatment team and case managers to support client goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health preferred; 2 years' experience in Behavioral Health required.
• Licensed Professionals: LAC, LMSW, LASAC; Independent Licensed: LPC, LCSW, LISAC preferred.
• Computer skills: KIPU, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for notes and reports.
• Excellent verbal communication and empathy; adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Inform prospective clients about financial and emotional commitments.
• Consult with new clients to gauge difficulties and resources.
• Devising tailor-made treatment regimens and adapting as needed.
• Address concerns through talk therapy and model adaptive behaviors.
• Promote coping techniques and nurturing relationships.
• Record symptomology and monitor intervention usefulness.
• Complete documentation within 24 hours of service.
