Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking therapists to join multiple departments across Kansas City and Independence, MO. The roles involve individual and group counseling, assessments, and coordinating referrals to ensure comprehensive client care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PLP, LP or similar.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field planning to take licensure exams.
• Offers contingent upon passing state exams and obtaining LMSW, PLPC, LMFT, or PLP license.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual counseling sessions addressing clients' mental health needs and goals.
• Facilitate group counseling for individuals with similar struggles.
• Conduct group education on stress management, substance use prevention, and related topics.
• Perform assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Offer codependency counseling and boundary setting guidance.
• Deliver counseling and intervention to resolve conflicts.
• Collaborate with case workers for coordinated client care.
• Coordinate referrals to specialized services when necessary.
