Job summary

Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute is seeking a Licensed Therapist to provide therapy services in our outpatient department. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, delivering group and individual therapy to adults, adolescents, or children with emotional or substance use concerns.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans with the team, applying Cognitive Behavioral Theory, and contributing to discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology).
• Licenses: LMSW, LCSW, LPC-I, LPC, LMFT-A, or LMFT Required.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare field; psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy in a group and individual setting.
• Develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans in concert with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Demonstrates sound application of Cognitive Behavioral Theory and methodology.
• Contributes effectively to discharge planning.
• Plans and prepares for activities.
• Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information.
