Job summary

Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute seeks a Therapist to deliver therapy services across adult, adolescent, or child patients in our behavioral health program. The Clinician will work as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team delivering group and individual therapy, developing treatment plans, and supporting discharge planning.

Licensure in LMSW/LCSW/LPC-I, LPC, LMFT-A, or LMFT is required or preferred with inpatient experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology).
• LMSW, LCSW, LPC-I, LPC, LMFT-A, or LMFT licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years healthcare experience; inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, assessment, evaluation and interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of psychiatric and addictive disease diagnoses and treatment; understanding of DSM IIIR.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans with the treatment team.
