Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work related field.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a mental health field preferred; direct care, family and group therapy, crisis intervention, clinical assessment and treatment planning.
• Texas License in Social Work or clinical related mental health field (LPC-Intern, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LCDC).
• Handle with Care training within 90 days, competencies tested within 90 days; flexible hours with overtime, some holidays/weekends; TB test and CPR certification; familiarity with CMS, TJC, TAC, OSHA and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as an active member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Conduct individual and group therapy and crisis intervention.
• Perform psychosocial assessments and participate in treatment planning.
• Facilitate family sessions and coordinate care with the treatment team.
