Job summary

Three Rivers Youth in Pittsburgh seeks a Licensed Therapist to provide professional services to children, adolescents, and families. You will assess needs, create treatment plans, and implement interventions to support mental health and well-being, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

The role requires a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field, plus at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in a therapeutic setting, preferably with youth and families.
• Experience conducting individual and group therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
• Assess clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to coordinate care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all practices.
• Educate clients and families about mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Contribute to program development and evaluation to enhance service delivery.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate the treatment process for individual clients on the unit; develop ISP or FSP as needed.
