Job summary

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our inpatient and outpatient therapy programs. The therapist will collaborate with social services, education and discharge planning teams to support patient well-being, while adhering to Joint Commission and state regulations.

Responsibilities include supervision of sessions and contributing to discharge planning in a high-volume clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess LPC, LCSW or LMSW, PLPC license in good standing with Louisiana.
• Must be LPC in Louisiana OR LMSW in Louisiana.
• Preferred: Three years of full-time experience in psych.
• Excellent assertive communication skills, good writing and composition skills, and able to organize and prioritize high-volume workload.
• Must successfully complete CPR certification.

• Provides clinical supervision of individual, group and family sessions as indicated in supervisor notes.
• Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and participates in chart reviews for quality assurance.
• Discharge and aftercare planning, completion of discharge summaries, completion of clinical documentation and guidance to clinical staff.
• Provides clinical counseling services; including group, individual and family services.
• Reviews psycho-social documentation, completion of outcome studies assessments and development of clinical notes.

Freedom Behavioral of Monroe/West Monroe is seeking a therapist to work in our Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy Programs. The Licensed Therapist works as an integral part of our social services program which is necessary to meet the legal, organizational, medical staff and regulatory agency guidelines. The Licensed Therapist works with our therapy services, case management, education and discharge planning team for the patient's well-being. All duties are to be done in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, Allegiance and Freedom policies and procedures and Performance Improvement Standards.

Essential Functions: Provides clinical supervision of individual, group and family session for patients as indicated in the supervisor notes. Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and participates in chart reviews for quality assurance. Work with the clinical department including the following functions: discharge and after care planning, completion of discharge summaries, completion of clinical documentation and providing guidance to the clinical staff. Review psycho-social documentation, completion of outcome studies assessments and development clinical notes, Provides clinical counseling services; including group, individual and family services including communication in an age/disability/cultural sensitive milieu. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Educational/Experience Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

• Must possess an LPC, LCSW or LMSW, PLPC license in good standing with the State of Louisiana.
  
• Mustbe a (1) LPC in the State of LouisianaOR(2) must possess the following: LMSW.
  
• Preferred: Three (3) years of full-time experience in psych.
• Excellent assertive communication skills, good writing and composition skills and able to organize and prioritize high volume workload. Must be able to work under close supervision.
• Therapeutic Intervention/De-escalation education.
• Must successfully complete CPR certification.
