Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in South Bend, IN is seeking licensed clinicians to provide individual and group therapy across detox and residential settings. You’ll develop treatment plans, coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, and support clients through recovery in a compassionate, professional environment.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, thorough documentation, and collaboration with families and the treatment team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana clinical license required (LSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC or equivalent)
• Master's degree in a related clinical field
• Experience in behavioral health, mental health or substance use treatment

Responsibilities

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Oversee clinical needs, services and aftercare for assigned caseload
• Assess client needs, progress and relapse risk
• Intervene and de-escalate in crises
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and treatment team
• Communicate with families and support networks
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews
• Uphold professionalism, ethics and confidentiality

We are looking for licensed clinicians who are passionate about helping individuals navigate behavioral health, mental health, substance use, and co-occurring challenges.

What You'll Do

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Take responsibility for the clinical needs, services, treatment planning, and aftercare of your assigned caseload
• Assess client needs, progress, relapse risk, and ongoing treatment needs
• Prevent, intervene, and de-escalate in the event of a crisis
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation of client challenges, progress, interventions, and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director and multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate quality care
• Communicate effectively with families and other members of the client's support system when appropriate
• Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews
• Model professionalism, ethics, accountability, dignity, and respect in every professional interaction

What We're Looking For

• Active Indiana clinical license required - LSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, or other applicable license that qualifies the candidate to provide clinical services in this setting
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Addiction Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related clinical field
• Experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or a related clinical setting
• Experience providing individual and/or group therapy
• Strong clinical documentation and treatment-planning skills
• Ability to assess client needs and respond appropriately to behavioral or clinical concerns and crises
• Excellent verbal, written, collaborative, and interpersonal communication skills
• Compassionate and professional approach with the ability to maintain strong clinical boundaries
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards
• Experience working with substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, detox, or residential treatment is a plus, but not required
