Job summary

The Recovery Village is seeking a licensed therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy in a residential treatment setting. You will complete biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, facilitate psychoeducation, and collaborate with medical and clinical teams to support patient progress.

You must hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field, and an active Missouri license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LSW, or MFTC).

• Master's degree in counseling or a related field is required.
• Active Missouri therapist license (LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LPCC/LSW or MFTC) is required.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy with adults.
• Experience completing biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Recovery Village is a nationwide behavioral health treatment network focused on evidence-based care for addiction and mental health conditions. Our teams work to support patients through treatment that is compassionate, clinically grounded, and centered on long-term recovery.

In this role, you will help deliver meaningful therapeutic support to adults in a residential treatment environment, contributing to care that is collaborative, patient-focused, and responsive to each individual's recovery journey. You will play an important part in helping patients build stability, develop coping strategies, and move forward with a clear plan for continued care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in a residential treatment setting.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate group sessions and psychoeducation.
• Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and clinical teams to support patient progress.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation with support from Heather AI.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy.

• Experience working with adult patients and supporting individuals with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Availability to work Sundays through Thursdays 8am-4:30pm and one weekday evening until 6:00pm.
• Experience providing therapy in residential, PHP, or IOP treatment settings is preferred.
