Job summary

Rite of Passage at The Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center (AJATC) in Bryant, AR is seeking a Licensed Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth in a secure residential setting.

The role includes clinical assessments, treatment planning, case management, and coordination with a multi-disciplinary team. Arkansas licensure (LPC/LAC/LMSW/LCSW) and a Master’s degree are required; on-site schedule is Monday–Friday with some on-call duties.

Qualifications

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Licensed Therapist at The Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center (AJATC) in Bryant, Arkansas

AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Pay : $65,000/annually; can increase based on education and experience

What you will do: The Licensed Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy while overseeing the completion of treatment for students under their care. This may include services such as: clinical assessments, service planning, counseling, case management, record keeping, and service coordination with the multi-disciplinary team. As the Licensed Therapist, you may document and assess the effectiveness of specific interventions toward meeting the treatment plan objectives and goals. This position may require you to provide crisis intervention, as necessary and does require monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans, and discharge summaries of all students within your care.

To be considered you should: Have an Arkansas license as a LPC, LAC, LMSW, or LCSW ~ Must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant field ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM;On-Call on rotation
