Interact with prospective owners over the telephone and email, using sales techniques to convert them into purchasers. Develop relationships with prospective owners by following up on referrals and leads. Cater the sales experience to individual needs and follow through with the sales contract process to ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently. Maintain the customer relationship after the sale to ensure satisfaction and develop future business opportunities.

Candidate Profile
Education and Experience

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED; minimum 1 year experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency in English (additional language required for certain positions)
  • Maintain an active and in-good standing professional Real Estate License where mandated by law

Preferred:

  • One-year related experience
Successful Candidates Will Be Willing To:
  • Work at night (occasionally)
  • Work weekends and holidays as required by business needs
Job Specific Tasks
Building and Maintaining Customer Base
  • Answer owner questions regarding properties and amenities; make recommendations based on owner information
  • Fulfills owner requests regarding pricing, maps, descriptions, and portfolio information
  • Monitor contract processing to minimize rescissions and ensure timely closings
  • Follow up on owner referrals
  • Maintain records of customer contacts for effective follow-up
  • Contact owners to monitor satisfaction and develop business opportunities
  • Use CRM systems to maintain interaction records and follow up
Giving Sales Presentations
  • Discover prospective owners' needs and customize presentations accordingly
  • Explain features and benefits of the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations product
  • Build rapport and establish trust with customers
  • Close sales using approved processes
  • Develop and improve sales presentations
  • Present financing options and finalize deals
  • Follow up with customers post-interaction
  • Answer questions about construction, financing, maintenance, and appraisals
  • Use virtual tour software as needed
Managing Business Transactions
  • Ensure accurate processing of sales documents
  • Review contract details with customers
  • Address problems and develop solutions efficiently
  • Review loan applications and financial documents
  • Work with management to minimize cancellations and ensure timely closings
  • Encourage owners to upgrade and maximize reload opportunities
  • Complete end-of-sale documentation
Providing Services
  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries promptly
  • Leverage resources effectively to serve customers and owners
Additional Responsibilities
  • Understand and adhere to organizational culture and processes
  • Manage time effectively to attend meetings and appointments
  • Improve sales techniques through self-critique and feedback
  • Participate in training sessions
  • Stay informed on current events for relationship building
  • Assist in mentoring other Telesales Executives
  • Comply with all relevant regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
