General Function

The Licensed Team Lead creates value by delivering exceptional customer service, managing key optical and lab processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the team provides unsurpassed customer service
• Assist customers with selections and recommendations
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder
• Perform expertise on lens choices, adjustments, repairs, and digital measurements (if licensed)
• In Lab, fit glasses, ensure quality standards, and maintain lab tools and safety

Basic Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED
• Valid state Opticianry license
• Optical and retail experience
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and math skills
• Leadership and training experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications or state licensure
• Experience with optical machinery and customer service
