Job summary

OSU-Oklahoma City is seeking a qualified faculty member to teach, advise, and support students within our campus programs. The role involves maintaining thorough course records, developing outlines and grading procedures, and engaging in service activities that support the institution’s standards.

Qualifications

• Associate in Applied Science in discipline and licensure plus industry experience.
• Licensed Surveyor with minimum of three years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach minimum 12 credit hours per semester for lab classes or 15 for non-lab classes, may include evenings or online instruction.
• Maintain student and course records on the learning management system.
• Maintain and file current course outlines, objectives and grading procedures.
• Advise and assist students in selecting appropriate academic courses.
• Post and keep office hours per institutional guidelines.
• May serve as lead instructor.
• Implement strategies for retention.
• Implement the assessment model.
• Serve on special projects and committees.
• Assist in designing/revising courses and curricula.
• Exhibit innovative instructional methods.
• Complete mandatory training and participate in required professional development.
• Fulfill all faculty requirements per the Faculty Handbook.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
