Pennoni Associates – Berryville, VA office is seeking a licensed surveyor with strong leadership and project management skills to perform complex survey tasks, prepare maps and reports, and ensure quality control. The candidate will work across multiple projects, mentor staff, and help grow the Land Surveying team.

The role emphasizes client service, timely delivery, and collaboration with Civil Design PMs from multiple offices while aiming to expand the client base and plan for department

Qualifications

• Licensed Land Surveyor in VA with 2–5 years post-registration.
• Thorough knowledge of land surveying principles.
• Proficient with Carlson Land Surveying and Civil 3D.
• Experience with ALTA/NSPS surveys and site development.
• Strong client service and meeting project schedules.

Responsabilités

• Perform complex survey/geomatics calculations for survey maps, plats, and right-of-way mapping.
• Compile and research data for projects to complete survey requirements.
• Coordinate and assist in preparing project estimates and schedules.
• Analyze deeds, title reports, and research materials for survey maps/reports.
• Coordinate with team members and communicate effectively.
• Write and review legal descriptions for surveys.
• Ensure QC before submission of survey products.
