Job summary

Pennoni is hiring a Survey Crew in Berryville, VA to lead field surveys for boundary, topographic, construction, and engineering projects. You will operate total stations, data collectors, GPS, and robotics, gathering data and preparing notes and drawings for complex calculations.

Minimum 4+ years in field surveying, a High School Diploma, and a valid driver's license are required. Proficiency with Leica, RTS, GIS, and Excel is a plus; strong team orientation, detail focus, and safety commitment

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
4+ years of field/land surveying and/or construction experience.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Lead a field survey crew in geodetic surveys for boundary, topographic, construction, and engineering projects.
Operate total stations, data collectors, GPS, and robotic instruments.
Gather field survey data by conventional, robotic, GPS, or aerial methods.
Prepare field notes and drawings for complex survey calculations.
Instruct and train crew in surveying methods, equipment, and safety procedures.
Perform computations and QA/QC checks.
Safely operate ATVs/UTVs as needed.
Deliver high-quality work and excellent customer service.
