Job summary

Ramaker, a 100% employee-owned firm, is seeking a Licensed Surveyor to support fieldwork and office QA/QC across Wisconsin with occasional travel to nearby states. The role blends field expertise with project coordination and collaboration with engineers and CAD staff.

Office work can be remote in a hybrid setup from Madison, WI. The position emphasizes maintaining ALTA/NSPS surveys, plats, and other regulatory documents while advancing surveying technologies and automation.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in land surveying, including managing field-to-finish workflows.
• Experience developing and reviewing plats, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and similar regulated survey documents.
• Active Wisconsin surveyor licensure preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform fieldwork across Wisconsin with occasional travel to neighboring states.
• Review and seal plats, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and other survey documents to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and CAD staff to deliver accurate survey solutions.
• Lead or participate in process improvements and adoption of emerging survey technologies.
