Job summary

Land Surveys Inc. is seeking a Project Surveyor to lead our Builder Division in Wisconsin. You will own projects from inception through completion, balancing 50% office work with 50% field activities, including data collection, grading design, and house staking.

Wisconsin licensure is preferred, with encouragement to obtain licensure if not yet licensed. You will coordinate with builders and drafting staff to ensure accurate, high‑quality survey products while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• Wisconsin professional land surveyor licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience completing boundary and topographic surveys from field data to final product.
• Proficient in surface modeling and grading/contour design.
• Ability to analyze construction plans and perform precise field computations.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from start to finish, including scheduling, budgets, deadlines and client communication.
• Prepare and set up each job, collect boundary and topographic data, and design grading.
• Stake the house and manage drafting review to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with builders and internal teams to deliver finished surveys.
