Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a full-time Licensed Surveyor to join our Rock Island team with preference for Rock Island, IL, but Springfield, IL or Coralville, IA will be considered. The role focuses on municipal, state, and federal markets and requires strong communication and leadership to support clients and staff.

Responsibilities include boundary analysis, mapping, deeds, and client liaison, using AutoCAD for base mapping and survey records management. Competitive benefits and salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• 5 years or more experience in surveying.
• Illinois Survey license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Use surveying measurements to determine property lines and boundaries.
• Research property information through titles, survey records and land records.
• Record accurate property lines and plots with local land use authorities.
• Perform base mapping using AutoCAD software and prepare deeds/reports.
• Provide professional representation of the Firm to clients and the public.
