Ideal candidates hold an Illinois licensure (or can obtain within 12 months), possess strong written and verbal communication, and have AutoCAD experience. Relocation not required; strong candidates in Springfield, IL or Coralville, IA may be considered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of surveying experience required in Illinois and related fields.
• Illinois Survey license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Experience with AutoCAD is required.

Responsibilities

• Use surveying measurements to determine property lines and boundaries.
• Research property titles, survey records, and land records.
• Record accurate property lines with local land use authorities.
• Create base maps and perform office mapping using AutoCAD.
• Perform boundary calculations, transverse and lot closures.
• Represent the Firm professionally to clients, contractors and the public.
• Provide field and office support calculations and research as needed.
• Prepare easements, plats and surveys and ensure documents are signed.
