Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in ortho spine and/or neurosurgery.
• Current Texas State License required.
• Certification by NCCPA is mandatory.
• Must have active BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room.
• Position and drape patients under the direction of the surgeon.
• Perform suturing and retracting of tissue layers.
• Assist in intra-operative care by performing assigned technical duties.
• Rotate on-call responsibilities.

Current Texas State License
