The role involves surgical first assistant duties in the operating room, with no clinic time required. Candidates must have 2+ years of surgical assisting experience in neuro and/or spine surgery, hold a current Texas State License, and be board certified by NCCPA. Qualifications

• 2+ years experience functioning as a surgical first assist in neuro and/or spine surgery.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room.
• Positions and drapes the patient under the direction of the surgeon.
• Suturing and retracting of all tissue layers.
