Job summary

Applegate Recovery is seeking a Licensed Counselor to join our outpatient team in Ohio. The counselor will provide individual and group counseling to adults enrolled in MAT for opioid use disorder, using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches and collaboration with doctors, nurses and a multidisciplinary team.

Essential duties include initial assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, coordinating services, responding to patient concerns, and developing aftercare and discharge

Qualifications

• Must hold LPPC, LICDC, or LICDC-S licensure (or LCDCII/III with counseling supervision)
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to adults in MAT for opioid use disorder.
• Perform initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate services with a multidisciplinary team including doctors and nurses.
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans and respond to patient concerns
